This is the result - Lung Mangled Bear. 16 tracks of beautiful, chaotic, mixes, edits, interpretations and downright bastardisation.

This release is completely FREE, available to download from this site. Please spread the word and feel free to re-post / link /share.

The file is fairly large, incorporating as it does 16 tracks (some of them lengthy), at high-resolution mp3 quality. A lower quality (160kbps) version is available above also, which is a smaller file size, but lower quality audio.

Artists Information

Brassica
www.myspace.com/brassica

Brassica is London-based Michael Anthony Wright, making decisions and music on his own, sometimes reluctantly, but always with interesting results. Working with found sounds, multiple instruments, and electronic technology, the music of Brassica suggests a clear love of the musicality of sound itself, and beyond this a sense of how to apply structure and (dis)order to these sounds, in order to produce a compelling and emotional affect.

Brometer
www.myspace.com/brometer

Brometer is the moniker of Mark Sargison, who makes beautiful texturally-fixated compositions using a variety of cheap and found instruments, all recorded through an inbuilt computer microphone.

The Exploits of Elaine
www.myspace.com/theexploitsofelaine

An exploratory improvising collective, The Exploits of Elaine morph elements of kraut, gamelan, metal and jazz into bizarre shapes and ghostly landscapes. This mix takes samples from across Tongue Tangled Hair and was made by TEOE member Graham Jones.

Talkingmakesnosense
talkingmakesnosense.com

Starting off in his teens on home-made percussion then moving on to guitar, Dominic Dixon, aka Talkingmakesnosense, now creates sounds from a wide variety of instruments, and on various formats including analogue 4 track, dictaphone, and computer.

Max Bondi
www.myspace.com/maxbondi

Working both alone and in collaboration with others for the last few years, Max Bondi has been making and transforming sounds, working within the limitations of his instruments and equipment. Using guitar, bass, piano, and anything else he can find, he utilises his own playing as the source material for his compositions.

Ala Muerte
www.myspace.com/alamuerta

Ala Muerte is Bianca Bibiloni. Based in Queens, NY she makes utterly transportive, atmospheric songs that mix beauty and menace to just the right degree - most evident on her debut album 'Santa Elena' on Public Guilt Records.

Okkam
soundcloud.com/okkam

Okkam is a DJ, turntablist and general maker of music. Orignally from the depths of deepest, darkest Shropshire he now resides in Bristol, making mixes of the kind of eclectic dexterity that you can hear on his soundcloud page.

Ladyscraper
www.myspace.com/ladyscraper

Ladyscraper is the performing name of Wayne Adams. While being predominantly gabber/breakcore-based, Ladyscraper's sound also incorporates elements of metal, ambient and plunderphonics in his music; including the usage of guitars and miscellaneous sampling.

DJ Topgear
www.myspace.com/djtopgear

Currently based in South Korea, DJ Topgear is Simon Petre. He makes music in more styles and genres than most people have heard of. This remix takes samples from the entire album.

Throwing Stones

Throwing Stones is the moniker of London-based multi-instrumentalist Ben Gaymer, who creates music equally interested in both melody and texture, as well as a constant focus on instrumental experimentation.

Keyboard Choir
www.myspace.com/thekeyboardchoir

Keyboard Choir is the collective name for Ady, Alex, Guy, James, Seb and Woody, six musicians who make music with the turbulence and dynamics of traditional 'ensemble' performances from purely electronic sound sources and 'found sound'.

Destructo Swarmbots
www.myspace.com/destructoswarmbots

Destructo Swarmbots was born from the imagination of Mike Mare, who remains the stalwart captain of the vessel that endlessly explores the furthermost reaches of experimental music. Now a duo with Joshua Booth, DS also regularly act as live band for hip hop heavyweights Dälek.

Euhedral
www.myspace.com/euhedral1

Euhedral is prolific Oxford-based dronesmith Lee Riley. Creating experimental collages of found-sounds, tones, noise, vocals and wash of hiss and static, Euhedral has released a steady stream of solo works and collaborations under his many monikers.

JR Seaton
www.nocturnes.cc

Raised between a north London squat and a remote corner of Andalucia, JR Seaton began to play instruments at a very young age. As a dj over the last decade he has taken his diverse taste across Europe. He currently lives in Berlin and runs the blog reddearheat.co.uk

Blinddate

Blinddate creates uncomfortable situations where awkward dinner conversation is reduced down to vocal reflections of primal urges that should probably indicate that the relationship isn't realistically going to be going any further at this stage.

DJ Floorclearer
www.myspace.com/djfloorclearer

DJ Floorclearer is a Brighton-based breakcore producer, releasing music on Wrong Music, Structural Damage, Deathsucker and his own label Probuscus Records.
