Sale!

Tartaruga is having a sale. For a limited time only, all CD releases are available for just £8 (inc. postage in the UK). If that wasn't enough, we have some special offers. For all orders over £15 we'll throw in some free badges, and for all orders over £20 we'll throw in a free Bleeding Heart Narrative t-shirt (so please state size and colour preference when ordering).

This CD offer applies to the albums from Brassica, Quinta, Max Bondi, and Bleeding Heart Narrative, including some copies of the re-issued first album, All That Was Missing We Never Had In The World, which we've added to the shop. This is the Cold Spring Records re-issue, rather than the Tartaruga original.

Bleeding Heart Narrative - New Album

We are now taking pre-orders for the new Bleeding Heart Narrative album, 'Tongue Tangled Hair'. This won't ship just yet - it is out on September 21st, and we hope to ship all orders then, though it might be delayed by a couple of delays as we await some things in the post, due to ongoing postal problems... They will ship very soon though.

Also available is a very limited screenprinted poster of the album artwork, at just £5. More information on the releases and shop pages of the site.

New Releases and Remix information

The website has just been updated with information on our forthcoming releases - the debut album from Max Bondi and the download-only 8-track EP from Bleeding Heart Narrative & Gosia Winter. You can read more information and download some free mp3s by heading to the releases page. To celebrate the Bleeding Heart Narrative & Gosia Winter release, we'll be running a remix project, with component parts of one of the tracks available to download, and we're inviting people to submit their own mixes/versions/interpretations. More information here.

New Year, New Releases, New News

Ok, this hasn't been updated in a little while, but plenty going on behind the scenes here at Tartaruga. This site will feature a few changes in the coming months as we try and stay a little more up-to-date and user-friendly.

Firstly, the next Tartaruga release is by the fantastic Quinta. She has made a fantastic album that we're delighted to be releasing, and it will be available very soon (late March/early April). It's all finished and looks and sounds amazing. More news on that to come.

Secondly, lots more things planned this year. More regular releases (both physical and digital), more free downloads, more artists, more activity, and just more.

One of our releases this year, and one we're already getting very excited about, is the second Bleeding Heart Narrative album. Due in the summer, this is going to be something very special. BHN will also be playing lots of shows, in varying line-ups and formats, before then, so if you live in London, Birmingham, Oxford, and hopefully some other cities, check them out.

Tartaruga will be on holiday all next week, but after that we'll have some more announcements...

Digital Release: Bleeding Heart Narrative

The debut album from Bleeding Heart Narrative, all that was missing we never had in the world, can now be bought digitally via several online stores, including iTunes and Amazon. This is the same record as the physical release (now sold out), but with the addition of a bonus track, blueskywards, which will also be included on the reissue of the album due to come out next year on Cold Spring.

The digital release of the Brassica album will be available from next week, Monday 17th November. All releases are in high-quality DRM-free mp3 format.

New Releases, Digital, Re-issues, and more

Ok, lots of news to update, so here goes:
- New items in the shop. The Bleeding Heart Narrative DVD sourpuss is now available to buy through this website for £5. This is a short 20+ minute film featuring visuals and all-new Bleeding Heart Narrative soundtrack. More info on the releases page.
- Also for sale we have some new Tartaruga badges. At the moment we have a set of Bleeding Heart Narrative ones and a set of Brassica ones, more designs to follow in the future.

- Digital Releases of both releases on Tartaruga will be available for purchase shortly. We'll bring a proper update soon, but the Bleeding Heart Narrative album (now sold out) will be available from November 10th, and the Brassica album from November 17th. These are going to be available in a huge range of digital stores, through 360degree music.

- The Bleeding Heart Narrative re-issue via the Cold Spring label has been pushed back, and will most likely be available only in the new year. More news when we have it.

- Bleeding Heart Narrative will be playing at various venues over the coming months, including a couple of trips up to Leeds, and a few shows in London. Check the live page for details.
