Tartaruga is the home to artists whose music we feel deserves to be heard. We are entirely independent, and we support original and experimental musicians, regardless of genre.

We aim to work as closely as possible with our artists, on all aspects of each release. From the music to the packaging and design; we will allow the artist to determine how their music is seen and heard. Whilst we collaborate closely at each stage, the final say will always be that of the artist. Given some of these constraints, Tartaruga releases inevitably take up more time and resources than many other labels, but this is something we firmly believe in.

The list of artists on the left hand side indicates those that have been or will be released through Tartaruga. Information will be updated about these artists and releases as and when we have it.
